Der talentierte Wide Receiver Kyren Lacy, früher an der LSU, muss sich wohl wegen fahrlässiger Tötung und Fahrerflucht verantworten.
Wie unter anderem Dov Kleiman berichtet, droht Wide Receiver Kyren Lacy mächtig Ärger.
Der frühere College-Spieler der LSU, der potenziell beim kommenden NFL-Draft in der ersten Runde gepickt werden könnte, soll in einen tödlichen Autounfall involviert gewesen sein.
Wie die Polizei am Freitagabend angab, habe man mit Lacy und seinem Anwalt Kontakt aufgenommen, damit er sich stellt.

Lacy, der den Unfall Berichten zufolge verursacht haben soll, hatte sich nach dem Unfall nicht bei der Polizei gemeldet und sich stattdessen vom Unfallort entfernt. Die Louisiana State Police hat deshalb einen Haftbefehl gegen den 24-Jährigen erlassen.
Infolge des Unfalls mit Lacy, der bereits am 17. Dezember 2024 stattfand, verstarb ein früherer US-Marine im Krankenhaus im Alter von 78 Jahren. Daher könnte Lacy nun wohl eine Verurteilung wegen fahrlässiger Tötung sowie Fahrerflucht drohen.
In dem Haftbefehl wird Lacy beschuldigt, den 78-Jährigen getötet zu haben, als er "rücksichtslos mehrere Fahrzeuge mit hoher Geschwindigkeit überholte". Lacy wird demnach beschuldigt, in einer ausgewiesenen Überholverbotszone die Fahrspur gewechselt zu haben, wodurch es zu dem Unfall kam.
Lacy sei dann um die Unfallstelle herumgefahren und "ohne anzuhalten, um Hilfe zu leisten, den Notruf zu wählen oder seine Beteiligung am Unfall zu melden" davongefahren, so die Polizei.
